Workshops

Reading Workshop

Students read their own novels and non-fiction books independently. They also participate in literature circles, book talks, and other activities. This is pleasure reading and titles are their choice. They are accountable for reading a variety of genres. 


Writing Workshop

Students write in a journal or complete other writing pieces independently. They also participate in writing response groups, peer edits, and author's chair. This is for pleasure writing and the items are their choice.
